Walkin' on a Dream: Short Stories

So I have been writing but I haven't been posting on my blog....I've been completely sidetracked by new moon. *sigh* it's such a good movie...of course the book is better but damn it I want to be in love like Edward and Bella :-( or even imprint with Jacob! Anyway the writing is coming along great. I have a little bit of writers block for the second Saints novel/short story/chapter...whatever you want to call it. But I'll be making a Soundtrack for that one sooooon.

Last night I copyrighted Saints:Awakening. It is officially mine and will always be mine! I'm so proud of myself. This is a HUGE step for me. I never really thought I would one day copyright anything of mine. I'm one step closer to finding a publisher. This is great!!!!!!

So I go to Copyright my work about 1 minute ago and I'm all set to do it I have all my information ready and I click on the link to copyright it and the damn thing is OFFLINE for maintenance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so upset...but its ok it will be back online tonight at 11. So After I go see NEW MOON I will be copyrighting my work :-D I'm so excited I'll feel like i accomplished something big. I mean it is big. I'll be one step closer to being PUBLISHED! I can feel it, it's going to happen.

Since I'm going to be copyrighting my work in the next few days It's given me new inspiration to continue writing. I know it's still going to be a long process before I get published or self published, but getting copyrighted is the first step on the journey. So Saints:Awakening just needs some editing and I've got the first 5 pages of Saints:Reborn and I've decided there will be a third installment to the Saint series. I still haven't figured out a copyright name for it yet but it will go something like this Saints:____________ ahahahahaha

I've been writing and revising all week. Saints: Reborn is coming along, slowly, but its getting there. I don't want to rush it, I need to let the inspiration for it come to me. In the mean time I've been revising older work and rewriting some of it. So all in all I've been pretty productive.

Next week I'm going to send out my copyright papers for Saints:Awakening so that it will be mine and mine only. I think I might send it in for the other 2 books that will go along with Saints:Awakening. I think it will end up being a novella of some sort because I don't have enough words to make it a complete novel. But a novella is a good start.

So my uncle and his friend were talking to me today and they were saying how I should publish my work. Obviously, I want to do that but I am starting to feel a little discouraged. They suggested publishing it on Scribd for money. So, I'm going to bite the bullet and republish my story on scibd. So you can now read Saints: Awakening on Scribd. I'm also writing Saints: Reborn as well it's coming along slowly but I've been reading Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber and it's gotten me back in the mood to write. I also suggest reading it, it's a very good series I havent finished it I've only read the first 3 books, but apparently there's rumors of a movie. Personally I don't think it would make it as a movie because its like twilight only more classic vampire-ish. But hey why not give it a try? It is a Anime series tho. Anyway, I need to plug my own books not others, but really if you want a good easy romantic vampire read, Vampire Kisses is pretty good.
